Our Ministries

Women Ministry

Women’s Ministry exists to lead women in a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. We are friends: old friends making new friends, always allowing the circle to grow wider. We are sisters: accepting one another and challenging each other to grow in our faith.
We are image-bearers: like Father, like daughter, we take Christ in us to our community, revealing His love and grace to a broken world. We hope you’ll join us as we grow in our relationship with Jesus together. If you have questions, please feel free to contact me at any time.
Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works. And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of His return
is drawing near.” – Hebrews 10:24-25 (New Living Translation)

Children Program Ministry

God is changing the world through the ministry of Awana by equipping leaders to reach kids with the gospel and engaging them in long-term discipleship.
Our ministry exists to bring children into age appropriate WORSHIP where they can BELONG to the family of God, GROW in their relationship with Christ, learn to SERVE and then go SHARE Christ in the world!

Food Bank

In a variety of ways, the Council’s emergency food bank distributes food to low-income families, seniors, and homebound individuals with limited fixed income. About 20% of the people we feed are seniors; about 30% are children.
Because we know low-income people often lack fresh and nutritional produce, we are currently working to move beyond the “cans-in, cans-out” model for food banks to incorporate more fresh and nutritional produce for a healthier community.
A lack of healthy food choices can lead to serious health issues including obesity, diabetes, and more. These health problems are especially alarming because our medical community now sees this deterioration of health .
That’s why the Council is working to create a food hub, so we can apply a business model of food storage and distribution to address the lack of fresh, locally grown produce among the poor. With a food hub, we can better work to prevent these health problems and protect and transform lives

Prayer Ministry

Effectiveness in Prayer Requires Personal Relationship
If prayer is going to be real and meaningful to people, then you must help them understand that prayer is . . . .
more than attending a meeting.
— It is connecting with their heavenly Father.
more than a programmed event or activity.
— It is coming into the presence of the almighty God.
more than a Christian discipline
